This is a new high capacity replacement 5th/5.5 Generation 3000mAh iPod Video battery.
Please note this super high capacity battery will only fit the iPod video with a slim profile (30GB 5th/5.5 generation). This battery is larger than the original one so if you want to use this battery please make sure you have a thick back cover which then needs a thick
headphone jack and thick bottom bezel. All these parts are listed
below:

Since the iPod video thick version (60GB/80GB 5th/5.5 generation) uses a thicker hard drive, there isn't any room for this battery, so this high capacity battery won't work for those units. Though if you have a SSD or adapter (iFlash) that uses SD/microSD memory cards then this battery will work for the thicker version units.
